Standard Map as a Template

Alright, so I'm not big on the idea of making fantasy, sci-fi, or old style cartography types of maps. I honestly only plan to use the update to rework the normal earth map to use in historical and small scale scenarios. Unfortunately, satellite images don't quite have that Afterwind feel, due to the colours and shading being a little different and the oceans having their own art.

Can we, or are we going to get the standard map as a template to use to make earth based scenarios? Should probably be re-sizable to make smaller scale maps.

Did some forum searching and found nothing, I apologise if this is the 20th time someone's said this.

I agree, it would be nice. 50 states, China, several EU, and similar places have already been confirmed by many players - a standard map to work with for this would be a good idea

I will make a Scenario with the same number of territories as Risk

That will definitely be possible, and we understand that it will be one of the main uses for the new map editor.
