Where are all the new map makers?

I remember that mods claimed that once Aetius and the rest of the "touble makers" were gone new people would take their place. Its been more than a year, where all this "new" people and where are their maps?

Iv released several alternative ways to create maps and have even coached new players on how the assets work, the minute they relise they have to draw every border by hand they give up. Not only that but a really well drawn border can take hundreds of clicks just to finish one border, then you have to trace the borders that touch piece by piece. By the time they hear this most people say fuck making maps xD and those determined few who crank out a map relise it's not even very good and no one plays it so they never try again. I have 63 maps 19 completed 3 are populare 5 have 100+ plays. The only way they will get better is to keep working through the mistakes till your content improves. But noobs always give up. So no new map makers

To be honest the only reason you and the old map makers got plays on your stuff is because there was no one setting the standards. There are far better map makers now days who are making stuff except its kind of hard to build maps when the edited is super buggy as we dont have the new one. Also Luis has released 3 maps that destroy any quality yours had and he is building more as we speak.

Let me know when your boy lui gets out of the default map limbo. The default map has been exploited to death by the likes of Nifty and Adog.

No one's playing them, he's obviously doing something that doesn't sit well with the player base. History, accuracy, even balance have little or no worth if you can't get anyone to play, it must be fun to play or it is irrelevant. Btw show me three of these maps please I'd like to have an opinion to go off of.

The idea behind the map is not entirely bad, although most of the combat seems to develop in a simple face to face combat in those bridges. That takes away some of the fun and becomes a mere spam fest from all those cities in the central island.

Tunder, you are right. The Classic 5 are irreplaceable. It's funny, maybe one day they'll treat their content creators better. I mean look at the cancer the new-gen map makers are churning out, Nifty, lotar luis etc. Also as a side note, yes default is overused

Luis is similar to nifty, slightly improved. Still, both rely on spamming in their maps which is cancer and should be stopped.

Funny but untrue adog is correct the current map makers are nothing in comparison to the former, on top of that there is fewer then before, so fewer less compatent creators are making lower quality content for a whanning player base. But thank god the mod squad snuffed out those egos they where so detrimental to aw and there content was not needed xD I'm not saying mods killed aw alot of factors went into that, but highly opinionated dogma from Moderators definitly expiditied aws demise.
