In the case of competitive games mods CAN and should reveal who is ghosting. You have every right to know who you are playing.

Oh and mecoy try and be less of a tit. We've enough of them on these forums. Don't go around trying to ruin the reputation of what little up and coming low rank talent Aw has.

Ok lao. we get it you're the smartest and brightest (clear sarcasm). Although you've missed the point that mods don't in fact tell anyone whos on whos account, even in cw. Even when we ask, they just keep us guessing, looks like you were the only one who ever actually shows SS of players IP.

I didn't miss anything you did. Where did I say you are allowed to see their ips. If there is a mod refusing to tell you who is on the account in a competitive game remind them that they are obliged to. You have no right to know their ip.

Not only this is blatantly false, but also the majority of mods disagrees with this type of behavior. I had a talk with several of them after you so graciously revealed several alts identity, inside and outside of competitive games.

There are plenty of reasons about why a player would use alts. Some players just want to keep their privacy. Others uses it incognito-like to being able to play the game without getting dozen of stuffs to attend to. There's no reason about why we all should know brianwl/columna's or anyone alt identity and break their privacy.

On the other hand, the tools aren't accurate enough to tell who's on that alt/ghosting. Sometimes even link random IPs to the user.

But the most obvious reason is that there's nothing good that a player can do knowing the identity of an alt.

For the record check and I switched accounts for 1 private game, just to test if he could beat me with full upgrades (he didn't)

Remember the guy has been given advise by some good players so it is feasable he could actually win legit.

Rushing Ukraine turn 7 is pretty much expected if your team is losing like in that cw. And he practically emptied all his countries and used up all reinfs in them. That's fast and very impressive micromanagement to do in 4 mins, but hardly proof of ghosting, by a rank 12 at that.
Also Turk with gen versus Ukraine without gen? Ukraine has to be good to win that. Black Widow is...good but not that good.
Frankly Check is a great player, would rape me (very badly) at East, and he doesn't deserve to have his reputation trashed by unsubstantiated claims of 'ghosting'. Show proof, then make thread.
