Okay folks, nobody seems to understand I'm just showing the value of each package... for example One year subscription is a $71.88 value, but you get it for only $35.99. This seems simple enough to me, but I've wasted all day explaining this simple concept to people so clearly I need to make it simpler. So here we go.

Before:

After:

It's the same exact pricing, I just took out the red numbers. Now you can do your own math to figure out which plan is the best deal.

Just as point of reference this could be misconstrued as a reduced or sale price, from $75.99 - that is the confusing part, not the fact that 6.33 x 12 = 75.
I know in the UK if you are to show something reduced it has to be on display for 3 months at that price, before it can officially be declared and displayed as reduced, otherwise the original price cannot be shown - I am assuming the Estonian/US or wherevers law is different, but may be worth checking so you dont land on the wrong side of a law suit.

God bless America and our glorious lack of silly EU rules

it's a long time standing british not eu rule.
idea being a price cannot be inflated then reduced to original/higher price,
although larger chain shops do inflate reduce to original/higher price by using time/location loophole.
if you can be bothered check how prices are increasing every 3 months or so via the time/location loophole.

I just dont understand why there had to be this dumb marketing ploy.

the fact of the matter is that it was confusing for most players and their confusion is justified considering that there was no announcement and that we just ended the christmas sale.

This isn't some dumb marketing ploy. It is pretty standard, it's used in business all the time.

it is dumb because the execution of it was bad

He gave a proper reason for his lack of a announcement, go easy on him.

his "proper reason" was that he didn't think an announcement was necessary which doesn't fly too well with me.

i am just surprised how many 2smart4u jackasses are talking how it was a SUPER OBVIOUS TOTALLY NOT CONFUSING MARKETING PLOY and defending dave all the fucking time.

yeah, dave fucked up. who doesn't? but as a community we should still aknowledge his mistakes insteaf of defending everything he does and trying to ride his dick.

I don't have to announce jack shit. Consider yourself lucky I actually care about this game and this community as much as I do, to have this conversation. If that's not good enough for you, then you can go fuck yourself.

Finally someone treating boywind as he deserves to be treated.

Monetize the game more. Allow the permanent purchase of upgrades! Also a monthly 2x sp subscription would be nice (reduced to a yearly deal). 2x not 1 week of 1.5x!

How about thinking how you can add paid features that wont change gameplay..
Like special colors
Skins
That sort of thing to add more buy options

Dave, please try this. It works really well for Fortnite. Try coming up with new aesthetic customizations that can be purchased for the game, or expand on what's already available. Also, try coming up with something similar for the excess sp that players have after buying all the available upgrades.

Also, there are other ways to make money besides prem, such as advertising, aesthetics, maybe even sp you can buy. I honestly would prefer any or all of these options instead of removing lifetime prem.

No one would like sp being purchasable because then the game becomes pay 2 win. Just spend money for SP and you're op the day you start game, also you automatically rank up from buying the SP. Also no one would logically buy aesthetics that add no gameplay value, most players are adults and have a sense of logic and know it'd be a waste to buy them other than to help support the game (which some people probably wouldn't do anyway). Aesthetics only really work on children or young people or people who just have the money to spend. That being said they would not provide the funds to keep the game going.

I spent a 100$ in skins for Smite and 50$ in skins for Rainbow Siege. I am also way older than you.

"or people who just have money to spend", not every person is like that. The reason why CSGO skins got so popular was because young people would take their parents credit cards and spend the money. Also why fortnite skin shit got so popular as well, there was many videos of kids doing this, but atwar doesn't appeal as much to the kid fanbase and it definitely won't thrive off the adults who buy skins because adults will want to spend their money more on bills, groceries, etc. Not saying they wouldn't ever buy luxuries like skins but they can't afford to waste money as much as younger people who are like 16 can
