West Germany WWI

So I gave west germany a try in Aetius' "The War to end all Wars" and I have a few questions about how exactly to play. Keep in mind, I do not have premium. Strats to use, and units to buy would be helpful. I would also like tips on u-boat usage, dreadnought usage for northern german sea, as well as most importantly when to attack the trenches. I have found I am able to overpower britian in their trench by turn 4 and was wondering if this is a good idea.

Good strategies are imp, but others like pd can be used,there is no right time to attack trenches,if u decide to do that,u should spam at least 70+ artilleries plus some heavy ones(12+) for needed firepower,the more the best.Spamming dreadnoughts isnt really needed as it is money consuming and not needed after all.Subs are usefull to kill supply ships(uk) but are also usefull to kill american reinfs in late turns.U should spam at least 9 of them to overcome Escort ships defenses.For trenches defense thats up to u if u want an agreesive or a defensive gamestyle,a mix of conscripts and inf is best,also when u attack gather ur 100 attack units stack between 2 treches so enemy doesnt know where u will attack,watch out for rangefails though cause heavy artillery have bad range.One last one never send conscripts to attack,just dont.

For subs, what is your recommendation on using them? I usually get mine killed after a single attack :/ is this normal or should I not attack immediatly?

I usually wait until their late reifs arrive,gather like 12 subs till then,and kill them.
