A message to my fellow competitive players

As everybody on atwar knows, every popular map (with the exception of RP/great war/ancient?) will be down for 48 hours. These lower ranks who would usually play these maps will now be looking for something else to play. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce them to the competitive field without being "ERMERGERD RP IS CANCER PLZ PLAY MA 3V3S" like most of us usually are (including me).

So here's what I propose:
1.) Flood the main lobby with 3v3s open to all ranks. Lets make the front page of atwar be only 3v3s and world maps.
2.) No harassment towards the lower ranks during these 3v3s. Everybody is to be supportive and answering any questions as well as giving out advice.
3.) Do not force anybody to play it. Let them come naturally.
4.) Explain the concepts of clans and CWs and be accepting of anybody that wishes to learn in your clan.

Lets make the most of these next 48 hours people!

I support. Each competitive player should host one 3v3 with all ranks allowed and not kicking except if seriously retarded pick. Even if you have like 10 3v3's up.

That's not the point. The point is for the noobies to be introduced to the competitive scene and have fun doing it.

Nice idea but I don't think it will be successful for all ranks. after a few 3v3 gettin defeated the low ranks will lose interes in 3v3. eventually the 3v3 players gonna quit and we need new players or else one day there will no more be 3v3.

whati suggest is to make a clan where we can train low ranks for 3v3. each clan leader can put there his alt and we can all help newbies or we can invite them to pur clans and train them.

So basically there already are a bunch of clans that are here to train, however from my experience it fails for these reasons...

1) the vast majority of noobs do not want to get better and are contempt with just playing 50k games.

2) most high ranks do not want to spend the extra time they could be practicing real 3v3s to train lower ranks. (Now I didn't say all cuz a few high ranks put time into training me on a regular basis)

3) and noobs would rather play than train.

It's very rare that you get a low rank who actually wants to be competitive. Ik that when I first joined, UNs were really popular, and so I tried a few out, but got tired of roguing. So I stopped. I started playing 50k games, but soon got tired of the massive stacks and quick games. Now what was left? Thankfully at this point, I ran into tact who showed me eu 10k games, which to me were A LOT more fun than any other game. So I wanted to get better at those. So for a while that's all I played, and then SM was willing to let me in, where I am getting trained further. However, there are very few noobs like me out there who actually enjoy the 3v3s and eu10k games. I think it's a good idea, but I don't think the community itself wants to do it, which is really a shame, cuz tbh I really want to see this plan work.

All AW was once like it but theres some great clans that was doing great job but sadly now are inactive...nowdays there are none training clans that train 'noobs' in right way....is alll about teacher.
