Moving units

Hi guys,

Sorry for the basic questions but I'm new at this..
How do I move infantry overseas? I understand there is an airplane that carries them but how do I use it?
Also am I right saying that you don't occupy a city until you have infantry in it?
What's the difference in between infantry and militia?

You move infantry overseas using water or air transports.
You don't need infantry to occupy a city. Militia, tanks, and marines can also do this. Air units and submarines cannot.
Infantry are stronger with more range but they cost more.
