What about punishing "leavers" ?

Maybe they can get sp punish or maybe they can ban from atwar for a while idk but they should punishing for this,İts suck when u wanna play team game.

Problem: I suddely have a casuality of the live, and I have to leave the game. what should I do?

1. Leave the game. Most times ruining the game, but making things more easy to allies.
2. Just D/C. reserving my territorys exclusive for enemiges and fucking my allies because they think I will come back.

What about remakes? What if you have to remake games a lot due to not very good hosts? And not just the same game too.

Emergencies happen in life but just bc its out of ur control possibly doesn't mean you shouldn't be fined for causing trouble to other players.

So if I have to go to a hospital during a game I should be fined? Are you drunk? On steriods?

Emergencies are the exception not the most common cause of leavers. Thats why would could have something like a counter to see if repeated abuses are the case instead of one time exceptions. Unless you have to go to the hospital during 3 different games I don't think you should be included but this should apply to the people who are "leavers". Also we live life just bc an emergency happens to you does not negate your responsibilities. If your action doesn't hurt others games who cares?

I would be happy with a label honestly though just labeling someone as a known leaver like alil ratio on ur player card is fine… then its up to the host to let them play or not

ratio = how often people leave the game

1.00 never left a game

.75+ good

.50+ moderate

.25+ bad

below .25 they get alil label so others will know

People shouldnt be leaveing 3 out of every 4 games they play :/

How would the game be able to tell the difference between these two different types of leaving?
1) The type where someone early and ruins a team game.
2) When you leave because all your teammates are dead and it's just your home country left against 3 other players.

Let them play with an alt then, there still suffering bc there not as high rank as they could be if they weren't a leaver.

As for sp punishments i dont think itd be unfair to new people I don't see how? Small sp can easily be regained from a a game. But still a middle road should be taken with leavers and majour punishments probaly would be un preferable. SP taken away wont let others see that the player is a leaver and wont help the community. It would only be more of a deterant to that player and if that player dont care then others still suffer.

Ypu're starting to convince me. But the card should be showing recent games. I'm sure many newbies left games pretty early due to being pwned.

And beginners should be in the beginner room not in the main channel being pwned just saying

Do you know what is beginner room ? high ranks cant join there its for 5-0 levels

lmao, is unfair that noobs rank 0-4 infest our main lobby and quit within the first 5 turns. i expend 2 days making a map, as soon as i start, ranks 3 and 4 told me it was shitty compared to UN and mass quit.

There already is a way to lose SP it is called surrendering! Leaving is a way for people who have other commitments to leave and then come back at their leisure. Punishing someone for leaving a game is not a good idea. You all sound concerned about yourselves instead of understanding the thought processes of the people you are playing against. Stop being so cold about the issue.

But really, this is ridiculous, you cannot regulate this sort of thing. Sometimes people have to leave for legitimate reasons. I know the feel, it sucks remaking games over and over again because of leavers, but you can't regulate this in a way to please everyone. This is why I don't even attempt to start a UN or a WW2, because people always leave/abandon. So again, I agree with avatar, a stat that indicates the frequency of players' leaving rate on their profile would be the only reasonable solution to this problem. Thus, flaunting their absurd leaving/abandoning behavior to all!

Other than that, deal with it and move on.
