You said it lot of time and it only can true once. To me it seems to resemble Serbia that did lot of good things for the balkans but yet people hate it only because of one war.

Ungreatful bastards wanted to enjoy all the infrastructure that Serbian paid for in order to get them out of the middle eages without paying taxes.

But in Croatia at least the goal of the invenstment worked and it modernized. some Balkans nations are still there at the dark.

Enjoy your time here,if you go in skopje dont miss the big museum in the center,the alexander the great statue,bridges over the vardar river the kale fort on the top of the city..if u want shopping go to "city mall" (its huge)
You should also go south if you want fun with mountain climbing (galicica,mavrovo,pelister national park)
If you want swimming,drinking,having fun and a great time visit lake ohrid,and town ohrid,its the main turistical region afterall
Theres also prespa lake,fun place there are rooms for rent in the surrounding villages,cheap too.
You will have fun mountain climbing and swimming at prespa if you chose to go there too.
Go in the town of bitola too,theres a turkish museum dedicated to mustafa kemal ataturk,but you know of that probably.
Also try some traditional foods if you go south
Cant mention cause theres too many of them haha

Avatar joined the dark side, he is living in Northern Greece. Also be sure to do all your dental work while you are there cause its really cheaper compared to ours.

Greece is the most stable Balkan nation (unless you count Slovenia as Balkan, Montenegro is also good contestant). Infact Serbia is one of the less stable ones.

Greece can't even operate itself without EU's intervention. It's only matter of time before it collapses into a civil war and loses half of its territory to Turkey. I don't see any stability on there.

And Montenegro is just a demo-state that Serbs made up so they can rape Albania again without being bombed by the USA.
