Typical westerner, throwing with numbers '270 million', like we have accurate documents about that in THE SPAN OF 1400 years. Cold War school, make up a number and scare your people with it, doesn't matter it doesn't have a connection with reality. Typically using conspiracy theories and philosophically blubbling to accuse someone else because of her own inability to cope with reality and solve her problems, problems she created or didn't - but still unskilled enough to deal with it. West is alone to blame for their inability to solve problems like debt, rising poverty, crisis and migrant-related crimes, there is no ideology or religion behind, just pure incapability to solve problems. I'll use one example only among 100 on the West; if German police and inteligence moved their butts and did their job, none of attacks and crimes would happen. I ain't getting into why they didn't, maybe they don't know how because crime was low in their history, or they were lazy, but fact remains they didn't. Now France, Sweden and the rest aren't doing anything and so people like this screamy female come and spew some conspiracy theory. I'll argue that's happening because 20 years ago West stopped educating people properly, so this new generation is incapable living and solving problems like their parents 20-40 years ago. I've heard one American saying '50 years ago we had people creating space program and getting awards for scientific discoveries, today people don't know what ww2 was about and economic system their country is using'. p.s. Salah El Edin is the best

Who cares. Religion (or lack of religion) doesn't determine people's destiny. Stop blaming religions and blame them specific people doing nonsense.

i do agree, but i still find your comment quite misleading. wether you are a religious person or not, your mind should dictate your opinions, not your gut or what you feel might be right. nonetheless arguments often consist of yelling contests, especially those about religion/abstinence of religion. these yelling contests driven by purely emotions, become even worse, when the emotions one has CAN LITERALLY BEND THE WORDS USED BY AUTHORITIES SUCH AS MOHAMMED in their works. thats the problem about islam, it doesnt imply religious extremism, but religious extremism can always be justified by quoting the qran, just like the islam being peaceful can. just think about the passages that demonize the jews and then compare those to the passages that say you have to treat everyone with respect and honour, even those of other religions. quite contradictory, dont you think? now this is a problem, because an easy to get second most printed justification for war and hate crimes, that has no living religious authority who could interpret it correctly (or simply peacefully) is very likely to be used. so while the islam itself isnt a problem, the fact that hate crimes can be justified with it is. thus the islam itself, as religon has to be handled with a rational mind that questions everything, otherwise, things can become ugly.

Aren't you simply saying that the responsible is not the qran but people interpreting it on its own? So, how is that different to what I said? It still is people the ones to blame. Try to go straight to the point, or else it gets hard to keep on with your message.

what i'm trying to say is that the quran is like a weapon or an easy justification for war. its not responsible for anything, just like a knife isnt responsible for murder. nonetheless it would still be unresponsible to give one to a kid

And may I ask who wrote that book? A man. Who is using it as an excuse or interpreting it as he wishes it would be? Another man. To me, religions are not the books written by a person, that's nonsense, religion is supposed to be something higher than that. It's always people to blame for their actions or lack of actions, and the people that wrote those books and interpret it are responsible for their actions too, not the religion or the belief.

obviously there is nothing higher than anything, dude, come on. people like to interpret illogical stuff because its a part of our nature to do so. the people who wrote those books interpreted their feelings in a weird manner and the people who used the bible as a justification for war just wanted power. the problem i see is just that the quran was literally written to be used as a way to teach people how to be kind and "good" individuals and in the meantime to achive the point at wich the quran is actually read by people, the quran serves as a justification for war with passages that can easily be interpreted as something along the lines of "infidels are inferior, killing them is ok". the bible for example doesnt really have that, it cannot be interpreted as justification for war, or crimes or anything, because it never was meant to be used as one. but islam only became popular once mohammed was in his 50's when he started conquering large parts of arabia to spread his new religion. dont get me wrong though, i dont believe the islam has to stay in this position between people claiming it was a religion of peace and people fighting wars using it as a justification. contrary to catholicism, where the religious authorities were aweful, but the book was mainly peaceful, wich resulted in the reformation, the islam has no religious authorities interpreting it badly, but some non authorities interpreting it badly, while having a book that is not strictly peaceful, but basically a slightly masked casus belli against any other religion. this problem can be solved with two different solutions (that i can come up with rn kappa). either you teach people to see religion as what it is, just a few books and a neat opiate for the people, that you are free to take if you want. or we can use the other solution, wich would be finding a proper religious authority to interpret the quran strictly peacefully. obviously man are imperfect, but when you always blame everything on that, you wont get anywhere, why would you even need rules or morales then, come on, you wont get anywhere with that logic.

Might be. But you're risking everything on a guy interpreting the quran for everyone, so I'd stay with the educating part. Dividing the responsability and making them more concious about the issue is always better. Rules are there simply to standardize what "some" people in power happen to find acceptable. It's not that we need them, more like they were imposed on us since our birth due to our society. Morale is personal set of values which usually is predetermined by your education, family, enviroment, etc. (aka culture), which helps to standardize our thoughts and behaviours as well. If the world is not "perfect" is a direct consequence of our not so perfect morale and rules.

You do realize that Jesus was semite and thus arab looking, not blonde blue-eye european as whites portrait him to be, as brown arab looking people had to be demonized and propaganda fed to white people so they can justify wars.

Irrelevant. Who cares about the colour of his skin? Yes he was probably arab looking, although there was quite alot of admixture between arabs and greco-romans at the time so he probably was mixed. Never cared much about genetics, im not a racist and im aware that all southern europeans carry arab genetics, since those were the dominating ancient empires, its about the culture of the races, not the races themselves. The rest of your bullshit is just that though, bullshit. Christians never wanted to demonise arabs as they had no reason to. Arabs were demonized 600 years after Jesus, because they terrorized half of the known world and conquered lands from Arabia all the way to Western Europe, pillaging, raping and murdering. You would demonize too if you were a Christian, a Jew, a Zoroastrian or a Pagan, living peacefully somewhere in Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Sardinia or in Spain and the last thing you saw before you died was this

I never saw an European picture or tv footage of a white man as portraited as terrorist, always brown looking people with beards and serious or fanatical face. That's why after some time you automaticly get angry or your knees jerk when you see an arab or a man arably-dressed in real life or tv. Brainwashing at its best.

War attrocities and inept command? Have you seen Kingdom of Heaven movie? He let crusaders go and didn't kill them (unlike crusaders who butchered muslims in 1099) and he won Battle of Khatin with minimum casualties because INEPT crusader command led their army through the desert without water. Saladin is in top ten best leaders of all time comrade. p.s. Syria was pretty civilized in Medieval Age, better hygiene, infrastructure, knowledge, order, administration, literacy, culture and art than Europe. Europe just like muslims oppressed women, had 10-15 children of whom half die by the age of 10 and killed anyone who opposed nobility and religion. So your argument was not valid there, sorry. But 'stinking breath of the north' is best line ever, i'll always remember it from the game.

Wowe you get your history from a hollywood movie? I thought all Western movies were propaganda and depicted muslims as terrorists Well it was an awesome movie and Saladin was an outstanding politician and "kind of" chivalrous and kind for his time ( western historians romanticised him). But he was not a saint, he was a traitor, he had his share of atrocities like everyone this period and he certainly didnt let Christians go, he just ransomed them and whoever didnt have money was enslaved. And finally he certainly is not in the top 10 leader list, lol. He was a mediocre general when it came to war, Richard the Lionheart, one of the bravest and most skillfull military commanders of all time, managed to beat Saladin in most of the battles (Richard was undefeated) and all that while being outnumbered, far away from home, without water and medicine and plagued by heat and insects (tarantulas were ravaging the crusaders at nights lol) and in-fighting, managed to get a peace offering from Saladin, who had all the advantages going for him. Long live Richard the Lion! Also please stop being a traitor and trashtalk your own people, ideals and religion. Its not funny. ++++++++++++ DEUS VULT ++++++++++++++

Saladin was militarily little weaker than Lionheart, not because he was weak but because Richard was way too strong. Richard was all about warfare, he didn't had a clue about economy and running a state. But Saladin did. Saladin created such a powerful country he didn't even had to command in war, just unleash his vast armies on the enemy, while economy would supply them. Richard can never be compared to Saladin, Richard was an idiot who didn't even knew his own language, he was 'king of england' but lived in France and spoke french fluently. He only made things worse for England and died in battle when he attacked a castle from his french rebelious knight. What a story worth of a legend.

Top ten most overrated leaders, looks like you forgot how he got smacked down by Richard the Lionheart time and time again, just like here
This is so laughable I'm not going to address it other than to point out that the only culture and technology there came from the local Christian populations

You forgot india, mughul, they litterally destroyed Buddhism in india, and killed millions. Aswell poor Ethiopia got rekt. Shout out to my niggas. Lastly since the times before even Alexander there was intermixing of various cultures in the lavant, he was most likely darker In complexion but no where near the features of a bouduin arab, as the area was dominated by persia (lighter coloured) then later greek(even lighter coloured) Then Romans who where also fairly white, then greeks again, before arabs. That spans around 1500-2000 years of various cultures mixing there before arab conquest.
