Out of all seriousness though I hate this "Pray for Paris" shit. The situation is horrible yes, but you'd think you'd do a little bit more than pray.

We'll watch and see whether the French realize that their idealistic, utopian vision of a "tolerant, multicultural, and open" Europe is causing the destruction of their own society and leading to events such as this, or if they will continue being complicit in eroding their national identity with open borders, welfare for migrants who refuse to work and then run around French cities bombing and murdering civilians, and a foreign policy designed not to further the interests of France but those of organisations like the eurozone and NATO.

This is "nothing", do you have any idea how disrespectful that sounds? I understand what you are trying to say, however many of us never lived 70, 80, 100, 150, 200 years ago. Notice why I said the world we live in "today". Don't make me put you in your place again. Sit down, kid.

You've made the wrong assumption. I am not referring to the degree but the frequency of conflict these past centuries. This scenario is as gruesome as the french revolution, reign of terror, global colonial revolutions, world wars, state occupations, holocaust, state rapes (nanking, berlin), dictators, nagasaki-hiroshima, cold and what-not. Just because you live in the present excludes your say from the past. The consistency of conflict and terror is subsiding because people fought. Because they did not rely on their Gods. When these monsters come after you and your family, you are left with the choice to protect them or pray. The latter is not worth the effort, never was, never will. I dare you, put me down with your feeble prayers. Name all the gods you can find.

I'll just write proverb i posted 4 years ago when Libyan and Syrian wars started: War breeds war and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt.

It's disgusting how the 'Islamic state' aka ISIS/ISIL try to justify this terror in the name of Allah. A better suited excuse would be in the name of brutality, hatred, and being brainwashed. It's also disgusting how people consider them Muslims

Praying to the God that caused it to happen? Or praying to the God that did nothing to stop it? Why is he worthy of being prayed to in the first place?

They are Muslims. You denying them being a Muslim is a defense mechanism, only difference is the upbringing. They the radicals, you a conventional. Still a Muslim.
