Though before that i've read Quiet flow the Don, and still waiting someone to create Russian Civil War map.

I'd make it, my issue is though, I'm not sure what is really history, and what is Stalinist propaganda rewriting history.

Simply use wikipedia as common source. Though i think wikipedia is heavily biased, i don't mind using it for game-related sources, it even make it more fun.

You can check my old russian civil war scenario, called 'Russian Revolution'. I simply added Poland and Ukraine as separatists, Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Central Asia as communists, and Ural, Siberia as White movement. 3 teams.

I simplified it deliberately because that's how i like, but you can make it complex as Aetius made WW1, but i advised you to make it somewhere in the middle.
