Since theres never ever a mod in lobby arround
i think it will be a good idea to assign mods to game section and forum section.

i needed a mod 3 times before , but ofcourse not one was present
they seems very active on the forum. But this is not the job they were assigned to do

players need instant help on games / complaints to someone who hears them out instantly.

idea's?

First off, you have been disrespectful to the mods. They are non-paid volunteers selected by the Admins. There is no way we would have enough mods on at once unless we get a ton of more mature people in the community.

Secondly, you have played this game long enough to know that there is a help chat and a /report command. So instead of beating up on the mods, use one of these.

First off, fine u don't care.

you put your question in help chat and anyone who knows the answer can help you. Not only are there mods, but also supporters who can help as well.

you avoided the /report command comment btw

and I never mentioned the forums. so lol

I can't quite figure out your tone, and if you actually believe what your writing, or just saying it because that's what mods want to hear.
When has help chat been moderately useful? As of recently, Never. Heck I see spam in help chat, and un named mods just sit there and do nothing.
When has a report to a mod accomplished something? In my experience, never - and I don't see anyone else sharing examples of it making a difference.

Please provide actual arguments to the I&S, or don't bother posting at all just to get attention. OLDSKOOL does have a point with this suggestion, but realistically I believe it won't happen as most good suggestions do not.

I have had good experiences every time I needed to use the help chat. I cant say that I have ever not gotten the answer to my question through it.
Also, what good is it for mods to do anything to spammers in help chat. The spammers just create new accounts on differing IP's to continue spamming until they get their way.

I have successfully reported several times players that were SP farming and breaking other rules. During the early stage of HTML5, I reported quite a few cases where players were using hacks and bugs in the system directly to the mods and admins.

I can't prove that I'm not trying to get attention so I wont try to. However, I will write what I think whether it gets attention or not. I think this disrespect of the mods by OLDSKOOL is useless and also not in the right place. The rules clearly state:

3.3. Do not post to pillory other players. If you have a problem with another player or want to report something please contact a moderator.
Mods are players just like any other user on atWar.

Also by the way, guideline 7 states:
7) If you have a problem with a moderator, please contact him/ her via PM. If still unresolved, message either of the mods you haven't contacted yet.

So, here are my arguments, like them or not. You as a supporter should know that this type of post is against the rules.

1) There was no pillory of players, Maybe a dictionary would be a good place to start, look up Ideas and Suggestions. I promise you it doesn't mean pillory.
2) There was not attack amoderator. He simply stated they are inactive, so stop trying to look sophisticated by writing long paragraphs full of meaning less stuff, and quoting rules which do not apply here.
As a supporter I know the rules quite fine, and he did not break any, there are many more thing that moderators allow and if what he said isn't one of them - that is abuse of power.

PS. Your word provides no evidence, hence proving my statement that no one has sharing examples (which proof - or else it could be lies to gain attention).

I gave you proof, which I will repeat again:

"I have had good experiences every time I needed to use the help chat. I cant say that I have ever not gotten the answer to my question through it."
"I have successfully reported several times players that were SP farming and breaking other rules. During the early stage of HTML5, I reported quite a few cases where players were using hacks and bugs in the system directly to the mods and admins."

What do you want me to do more than this? Provide screenshots of every-time this happened? I think not.
However I could check and see if the mods still have the report logs of the hackers. If would like me to do that I can try.

ALSO, he basically has stated that the mods are useless in game. I find that as a rude attack and if you think differently, that's your problem.
About the rules, I simply stated a rule because I considered his remarks an attack on the NON PAID moderation team that tries to keep atWar in decent order.

Also, stop assuming I'm trying to "look sophisticated". If I need more than one paragraph to state my thought I will use it. I'm not trying to "look sophisticated", I just need more than one paragraph.

In case you haven't noticed I deleted the response a few minutes after putting it up because you are reluctant to understand my point, which simply is that I could care less about your opinion, stick to the topic at hand which is him OLDSKOOL suggesting an idea. If you wish to continue your relentless argument message me (please don't I have to finish a PowerPoint about Privatization and I don't want to argue). Sorry if I have offended you, was not the intention.

sorry, didn't notice, I started writing my post and then stopped, leaving it open for a while. then came back and finished it.

It seems we both do not care for each-others views and as neither of us will persuade the other to take ones specific views, I will follow you and drop it.

/report is a good tool with screenshot proof attached yeah, most of us are busy allot, but we will get to addressing the issue eventually.

As for the game mod thing, I dont know how good of an idea that would be, since only a few people can be trusted with that type of power
For most game problems if you dont know what to do asking in help or pring a supporter works, they much more active and know what to do

/report is a good tool with screenshot proof attached yeah,

this is the first time i hear about /report , and im R14

im not bringing this up to be a dick, and trust me im not applying for the job trust me wouldnt want it
i know most mods are very active with long threads on forum , it takes many hours to setup a tournament or atwars complete terminologie
but its about visibility , and looks now your all underground on a forum i didnt even looked once the first two years i was playing.
U cant expect newbees to go on forum , they just wanne play.
Help chat is heavely abused and if new players indeed wanted some help they would think what the hell is going on here, same with all the non english chat ( kebab ) , very annoying

Look were trying to get more members in2 our beloved game, Admins are working hard on that.
Now is it to much to ask for Mods to be more visibil in lobby instead of on forum and MUTE dicks WARN cheaters and HELP newbees
just start with weekends when there is 80 users on

cheers

This is bullshit. Report function is the most useful tool to communicate to mods and assure that measures are taken.

Can you please give examples of what measures are taken?
Meester (maybe Lao, but we will go with Meester) Recently accepted my 1 (or maybe both) of my reports about Akeda and another players just spamming help and room about 1-2 weeks ago. Can you please show me proof in maybe Mod logs (if that's a thing), of what 'measures' were taken?
PS. I never stated it was not a useful tool to communicate with mods, I stated it was useless since mods would not do anything about the things that were communicated.

If you can show me proof that my report which Meester accepted made a difference, I will gladly take my statement back since I'm not here to harass mods (and it would be a good thing for everyone to know that this does work), but only share my experience to the topic. The reason I can not show proof that Meester (maybe Lao) accepted my report is because 1 week after notifications go away, but I'm sure that admins or mods have that logged somewhere - or at least should.

Sorry, won't give any "proof". Specially not regarding "one case evidence" and others' Mods doings. I can just tell you what I do when reacting to reports: I open them, check the content (dismiss abot 30% of reports that are "contentless" or do not fulfill a real claim) and take action. That's it.
Most help channel and other mutes are based on reports, chat logs and PMs sent to me and/or other Mods.
