Hey, I've been thinking about how cool this game would be with some added features and updates to it.

Resources, instead of just money would be a really nice thing to add, like maybe food for soldier upkeep, oil/fuel for vehicle upkeep, and maybe even boasted unit stats for more well fed armies (eg: a bit more movement/A/D on an army well fed). More detailed city sieges would also be cool, like having the ability to cut off an army's resource supply inside a city to starve them or even making a whole new supply route system that enables you to cut off an enemies army from resources giving them worse stats etc, this would also make the game a lot more realistic and fun to play... These are just brief ideas and anyone else feel free to post your ideas here for what you think could make this game better. Thanks!

As an optional extra for those that would like these kind of features for custom map's, it could be a good idea. Just because I support an idea, doesn't mean it will happen, I am also guessing isn't possible due to programming/timescales - I am showing encouragement to those that have expressed an idea to help the game, which would add more diversity to atWar. Sorry to see you don't like that. Furthermore you have played 3 custom map's in 300 days, why would you even have an opinion on this?

just because is not a priority doesn't mean is a bad idea. Custom Resources are likely to happen in the future, its just a matter of when.

i didnt talk about custom maps i talked about standard map.And to catch up i havent played custom maps for a long time but I used to.Also i think you were the one who said that "scenarios are for noobs".

Personally I find it pointless. You can add it if you're bored and have nothing to do (but you do have something to do, fix the fucking editor) but I doubt it would help much. Tags should get priority, though. Tags are more important than some people think, because sometimes factions that should be merged are divided due to units, like in Pyrrhus' WW2 Finland was meant to be part of Axis Minors but was seperated due to units.

"I dislike custom maps, if i wanted to play as napoleon i would play March of the eagles!"
"I dislike custom maps, if i wanted to play in colonial era i would play europa Universalies!"
"i dislike custom maps, if i wanted to play roman maps i would play EU:Rome or Rome total war!"
"I dislike custom maps, if i wanted to play space maps i would play warhammer40k or sterallis or masters of orion, or starruler 2.0"

"I dislike custom maps, if i wanted something more simple i would play risk!"

you don't play custom maps anyways, so why do you care if admins added custom resources to custom maps? this idea won't affect the meta-game at all.
