The thing is more pokemons and more seasons is a thing we actually wanted very much, pokemon was fun and loved by so many so it was the natural thing to keep going with that, for example the sinoh saga was even better than the saga before and maybe even than johto saga (the only case that johto saga has is ash did'nt stick to his regular 6 pokemons so we enjoyed more diversification).

everything after sinoh saga is complete disgrace, they ruined everything and betrayed their loyal audience for many years in order to gain money from little children, all new pokemons were a complete sh*t, ash got ten years younger with a diffrent eyes color, i did'nt watch one more episode after BW first episode it was just way too much and i'm saying this as very active player of erepublik.

the same thing you can see with you gi oh - that new saga with the motorbikes was so terrible, bey blade for example managed to create very good new sagas (the metal age for example - i really enjoyed it), too bad the era of fantastic animes is over, now we have to see american serieses about detectors.

I don't know how you can watch japanese cartoons. Characters are not moving, they are frozen in picture and you just hear voice talking. It is really autistic. Walt Disney Cartoons are much better, natural, hand-drawn, with good story, quality.

A lot of people disagrees with this.

Mickey Mouse is probably more popular than Goku or any other Anime character, but this is mostly because the industry was started before, and back then watching those cartoons were something new and entertaining, this helped to the propagation. Japan was a kind-of dictatorship back then and nobody was really pending to theses things. After WWII is where the Japanese industry exploited this potential, and you can see after this date is when the Anime propagates around the world.

Even nowadays, Anime are still expanding and represent a sure success not only in audience but also business. This is mainly by the fact that they don't make everybody looks child like Disney does, and girls actually have boobs (in Disney they doesn't, in fact they even cancelled Hanna Montana just cuz Miley grew and got noticeable boobs). The great history and arguably the fan-service, bought a creation from a strange, non-latin language to spread it all around the world, even beating own latin-creations cartoons in their own country such as in France, Italy, and the rest of Europe.

Realize that most of Walt Disney success in movies comes mainly from old classical movies that propagates because there was nothing else to see, or they were classical histories back then. For every new movie that is launched by Pixal Studios (which seems to be the only part of Disney producing new stuff), there are probably 4 or 5 new movies from the Anime Industry that got success.

Well you've already admit that Japan had talented people before, and drawing is certainly one of the things they're best at. Manga (japanese comics) is very popular too, even more than U.S comics. That we don't read them is because of the language barrel and the fact that we (or at least latin americans) don't like to read much (we prefer to watch Tv).
