reminds me of another post: "we had war on drugs =more drugs, we had war on terror = more terrorists"
studies and statistics prove it over and over again, death penalty isnt a deterent, it simply doesnt work. legalizing drugs however does solve the inflated prices and pretty much kills mafia income... Do we need to declare a "war on alcohol"? USA did in the 30s, for the result having the most prosperous mafia in human history during that time...

United States was involved in Latin America for a long time (since Monroe), plus creating new regimes and death squads for them 30 years brings the slightest logic that they might be involved in Drug Trade. USA is the largest drugs consumer which is illogical concerning 'war' their agencies fight to prevent drugs in their homeland. Why? Because that very own agencies are importing drugs - instead destroying it. They use drug money to fund their geopolitical missions, but that's another story.

No one can persuade me that country like America with cameras, satellites, spies, CIA, DEA, RICO, 50 allies can't stop drug trade in their backyard. Billions of dollars poured into Federal Agencies like CIA, FBI, $600 billion into US Army and there is still drugs.

Same with terrorists. They were created by America to combat USSR in the late Cold War and now they are being used in all countries with Muslim majority or minority. Phillipine President said it is America who export terrorism, not Middle East, and check the logic in that: Middle East didn't had terrorism before America arrived, Syria and Iraq were prosperous orderly nations.

This is also wrong assumption: When you legalize drugs, you will create 'drug shop' in the city, but where you going to buy drugs to sell? Obviously from mafia, crime organizations & drug cartels. Therefore think before act!

You will just enhance the profit of the mafia by buying their drugs in order to sell it in 'legal' drug shops to the youngsters and old hippies.

haha classic conspiracy theories (aka "i dont understand something therefore the CIA must bebehind it) then gross misunderstanding of the very concept of legalization...
is alcohol provided to supermarket by mafia ??
How is alxohol ANY different than weed or even cocaine? Answer: it is 100% legal therefore contributing to the economy by generating taxes rather than costing money to try to prevent (which in all history of mankind NEVER worked)
