Contributed the development of the game with the Adopt a Newb. Really helped bring the competitive play back into the younger At-War community.





Updated the very very old F.A.Q guide. Now with over 500+ views and 60+ questions I would say that its one of the most helpful At-War guide out there. Link to the topic: here





Organised the At-War Radio at its peak moment. Now inactive but will forever be remembered for bring life to At-War with the power of music.





Made the Player Statistics for the top 50 At-War player. Completed the statistics for most of the months and has helped these player improve themselves in respective categories.





One of the leaders of Stalins Martians one of the most elite coalition in the game. Desu has also contributed to the game with awesome suggestions like his idea for a better coalition war system.

Most of you are excited to see some progress with the HTML5 update, others not as much. The ATN team took the time to ask the admins a few questions about the update.

1. Why upgrade to HTML5? What wrong with Silverlight?
As much as we'd like it to, Silverlight won't be there forever, the future's with HTML5. Also the big factor is that HTML5 works on any platform/tablet/smartphone.

2. What features could we expect to be added once the games upgraded to HTML5?
In the beginning it would be comparable, feature-wise, to the current version, as we're concentrating on making the fully-functional HTML5 conversion first. There will be many interface improvements in it, but all the new functionality will have to wait until after we release the fully working version.

3. Will the gaming interface look the same after upgrading to HTML5?
It will be different in many aspects, especially since we'll need to support smartphones and tablets. We'll try to make it more logical and intuitive than what it is now. Also, there will literally be no distinction between website and the game, since it will effectively be a single thing.

4. Any approximate month/year when the game upgrades to HTML5?
We're currently not at the point where we can give any accurate estimates. However, we're planning to release an early alpha version first for everyone to test, just like we did with the custom maps (Afterwind => atWar).

The 4th Afterwind tournament is coming going to end after 6 months the 3 finalist are Dback, Hugosch and tophats. The ATN team wishes them all the best, may the best player win.

I'm also organizing a Royal Rumble tournament, which will be held in the casual game lobby. Check out the forum post for the password so that you can watch when it begins.

Hugosch has been a long time member of the moderation team, but about a week ago he decided to leave the moderation team because of commitments in real life. Hugosch will still remain and moderator and try and pitch in here and there.

Answer from last weeks "Ask the Player". Here's Tik-Tok answers..

1. The Tactician: Since you made WWI and WWII will there ever be WWIII?

Probably not. Who knows? We shall have to see.

2. Trooper21: Tik-tok, im not sure who you are but apparently you are a goop map maker. What is your best creation?

Ultimate WWI. It's close up of the default map but highly detailed.

3. AlexMeza: Why do you think Atheism is not about not believing in gods? That makes no sense ._.

Atheism is different to many people. To some it is a religion. It has its own Churches, its own pulpits, its own priests who are ordained. It sings at its Church and even assembles on Sundays. Atheism is also promoted as an attack on many traditional cultures to undermine their core values to allow for subversion in the interest of outside groups. For instance, the Soviets promoted Atheism and Homosexuality in the USA while Russia itself was ardently Orthodox Christian and prohibited Homosexuality as Bourgeois. Atheism will come and go. It's not a sustainable system and doesn't incentivize birth rates among its followers like other religions.

4. Madara: Tik, are you a free thinker and where do you get your ideals from? You're a very interesting person.

I don't like the term free thinker. I'm a Traditionalist and the description of a free thinker is someone who opposes Tradition. The term free thinker is an oxymoron. It claims Authority and Tradition do not inspire free thought or that they are illogical. It also seems to claim the existence of a Creator is illogical. Tradition and Authority are very logical and to claim a universe with laws and rules has a creator is a reasonable claim. It has just as much reasoning as to claim it came from nothing. I have no major interest in what happened billions of years ago as I can never truly know. We can't tell if Robin Hood was real or if Troy is a poem or an actual event. Both have sites and justified theories but we can't be entirely sure so we'll certainly never know for sure if the universe has a creator.

I feel the term free thinker is silly. It sounds very egotistical as we can never truly think freely. We all have our inherent bias. The term has also been hijacked. That tends to happen alot where a political group hijacks a word or changes its meaning to suit an agenda.

My ideals came from long discussions with people across the world. People I was taught to vilify who held unsavory opinions I opposed but came attracted to because they made alot more sense. These arguments began breaking down my original ideas of progressive fervor and developing into more traditional views. I also researched heavily into unorthodox views of History that picked apart the well oiled machinery of modern Historical ''fact.'' It's a long path that I have seen others take and it's a painful one. We are conditioned to hold certain views and it is not easy to fight that conditioning. This conditioning is obvious. People can call you buzzwords but when asked what is so wrong with being they thing they accuse you of, they have no reasoning. No justification. They are taught to react to certain stimuli but they do not know why. A few have claimed I am brainwashed or psychotic but what institution instills the views I hold? Much of what I say is illegal in many European countries and is actually prohibited on this very site.

People like us oppose an old system of nepotism and so we are enemies of the state. We speak up for people who wont or aren't able to speak up for themselves. Above all, we seek to regenerate people who have been degenerated. We find people who have been conditioned and turned against their own interests and we seek to convince them that they are more valuable than some inane consumer enslaved by naked skin and talking heads. Tradition is a priceless foundation of any civilization.

5. Grimm: So in the Wizard of Oz, Tik-Tok is Dorothy's protector and friend. How do you reconcile being a friend of Dorothy with your traditionalistic ethos and values? I understand if you're uncomfortable discussing this topic.

Dorothy and I are not friends. She isn't on speaking terms with Tinman either since she developed her cocaine habit and the Scarecrow banned her from the Emerald City after she sold the Ruby Slippers to get her next fix.

Change the word 'noob' to 'newb' please, noobs are people who aren't good, learn nothing no matter how much they play, newb just means new to the game and may not be the best because inexperienced. Just would like it changed cause newb is just nicer and friendlier imo. Check out the program btw.
